Details surrounding the cause of death are shrouded in mystery at this time.

Heston is best known recently for his outspoken views on guns and the raping of the second amendment. He believed, as many Americans that the public must be ever vigilant for a change to fascism and the rights of American to protect themselves.

It seems like only yesterday when we pulled into the drive-in, our car packed with friends, to see Vincent Price horror picture shows on the big screen. For those of us loners who might have watched the films at these times the scenes of Zombies rising from the grave was as common as malt-shops but Vincent Price added a gift of class to the horror genre. Here is a review of a double feature Horror DVD offered from the VideoSeconds Audio CD and DVD sales outlet.

Vincent Price has been credited within hundreds of films, videos, and specials he has either appeared or did voice in. Now we found two incredible films staring Vincent Price in his favorite role as a doctor stuck between a rock and a hard place. House on Haunted Hill and The Last Man on Earth are now both available on a single double feature Horror DVD!

The Modern Dog – 21st Century avant-garde of Bunuel, Dali and Richard Black 642 Reads

Posted by: movietv on Monday, October 15, 2007 - 01:20 PM
In 1929 Louis Bunuel and a young upstart artist named Salvador Dali collaborated to make the most outrageous avant-garde film of their times, “Un Chien Andalou”. This silent film made almost 100 years ago, stunned audiences with incredibly provocative imagery and has remained a treasure to studied film aficionados. Yet as the century rounded a corner the clock had already melted on B&W silent films and Hollywood spectaculars crowd out vintage films for attention.

The original silent film was shown without a sound score to audiences throughout the early part of the 20th century. In the late 1940’s and 50’s Bunuel added a sparse sound track of classical music played at some performances. It is agreed by most reviewers of the piece that without a soundtrack capturing the full spirit of the film, with its avant-garde kaleidoscopic imagery, made the film unreachable for the modern audience. The film, if found, is in the dark corners with lost art films as quick musical shorts and stunning action films compete for the film audience.

Death Proof – Tarantino at the Drive In 785 Reads

I had the unusual and spectacular privilege of viewing the latest Tarantino film in a drive in movie. Situated near a beach the atmosphere was positively retro as the film itself.

Part of a double play in the USA this film showed as a single play (of two films) at a drive in on the Mediterranean. The American audience was blessed with Grind house and added Robert Rodriguez’s incredible film to make it a real drive in double feature thriller.
