We found it very interesting that the recent arrest of Roman Polanski for fleeing his jail time brought out the worst in people. The French, in typical ignorance, and led by Nicolas Sarkozy, screamed to the defense of Polanski demanding the Swiss give back its prize citizen. Poland is doing the same. Even the Directors guild and others in the USA took the same position – You can’t arrest a famous artist for a 30-year-old child rape!

It took a few days for these mental midgets to understand if they say that too loud then child drugging and rape are sort of legal for everyone. After all, our belief (fallacy it may be) is everyone is equal under law. Therefore, self admitted and convicted child rapist Roman Polanski is no better or different than Gary Glitter and should at least have equality of the stars? While Gary Glitter may have had sex with minor children, he never drugged them. Maybe he should have?

Well, Nicolas Sarkozy is now being quiet but the French government has taken a new tone. They understand no one is above or below the law, or at least must take that posture in the light of this being so public.

Perhaps the media is to blame? They really do not make it clear that Roman Polanski is a self-admitting child rapist and he drugged the girl before raping her. Imagine your thirteen-year-old daughter getting drugged and raped by this old pervert. He is not, as the papers seem to imply, an accused. He is an admitted child rapist. Admission is as good as it gets with proof. So why do these people think someone who can direct a movie should get this free ride?

There is an old saying, "if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime." It is a crime in the USA, France, Poland and Switzerland to have sex with underage children. I am pretty sure drugging them is also a crime. The two of them together make for some pretty sad psychos at the wheel.

All that being said, just because he is a pervert and admitted sex predator does not mean he has no talent. It just means talented people can be sex perverts too. But all of us should have to pay the same if we take that path to reality or none of us should. Who is to be above the law? The drama will unfold.
